Dog days of summer

Earlier this month Aiobe took advantage of a sunny day to walk in the Arboretum on the shores of Lake Washington. Other dogs were enjoying swimming in the water, but she was perfectly happy to walk along the edge. I've tried to entice her into the water on other occasions, but with little success. Her friend Leif loves the water; maybe she'll develop more of a taste for it as she gets older.

Finally, a new photo

Considering how frequently they're curled up on top of each other, it's surprisingly difficult to photograph Leif and Aiobe together. I keep putting off updating the blog because I keep missing the shot.
